OUR PROCESS

What’s our process for decluttering a room?

  • We remove items that belong in other rooms – i.e crockery, toiletries etc.

  • We clear an area to sort in.

  • We start to categorise items (at this point things will look a lot worse before they look better – bear with us it’s all part of the process.)

  • We start to edit items with you (Once we have categorised items, you’ll be able to clearly see just how many of one thing you have. do you really need 150 pens, 6 old iPhones and 20 duvet covers?)

  • We never get rid of anything without your say so – even something we might think is rubbish to you could have real sentimental value.

  • We start to find homes for all the ‘keep’ items.

  • We help you decide on what to do with the unwanted items (We are happy to take items to a charity shop for you – this can be Marie Curie, where we work or another of your choosing. We can also assist with selling higher value items online)

  • We’ll implement storage solutions (We work with what you’ve got unless you have something new, you’d like to use. Jason is handy with a tool kit so can construct flat packs and do basic DIY)

  • We design functional spaces (we rearrange and reorganise everything in the room to make it more suitable for your household’s needs – from sofas to paperclips)

  • We’ll make the space look pretty (we like to leave a space not only functional but pleasing to the eye, where you can see and appreciate all your most precious items.)
